DESCRIPTION:
Cupola
Portion - Design, engineering, supply and installation of 24’ diameter
x 35’ tall circular cupola and dome roof. Dome roof is diamond pattern
16 oz. copper complete with custom copper trim. Body, trim and base
are all custom coppersmithing. Copper cross to match. 8 insulated
windows, as dome is open to the inside, complete unit is insulated.
Building roof is 16 oz. copper, double standing seam pan roof,
complete with snow guards. 6” copper K-style trough complete with 3”x
4” copper down pipes.
Lightning Protection System was designed, supplied and installed by
us.
Dome
Portion - Diamond pattern 16 oz. copper on cupola dome roof. This roof
was shop fabricated in two pieces and assembled at site due to the 24’
diameter total. Unit was then lifted on top of window unit at ground
level. Window unit was also two-piece assembly at site. Together the
unit was crane lifted into place. Then the top cupola and cross were
installed. The base unit was also two pieces assembled at site and
installed on the roof prior. |
